3-WAY HOT GAS DEFROST VALVE

3-Way hot gas defrost valves are used for gas defrost only. One or more compressors are used to provide refrig-eration for multinle evaporators, both medium and low temperature, The 3-Way valves are used to control either the flow of gas off a discharge header to the various evaporators, or suction aas from the evaporators to the suc-tion header. The direction of flow is dependent upon whether the pilot valve is energized or de-energized.
