ADJUSTABLE OIL LEVEL REGULATOR

The TEIDAR TDAOL-2-5 adjustable oil level regulator allows the oil level in the compressor crankcase to be maintained at any level between 1/4" and 5/8" sight glass.The TDAOL-2-5 maintains the level at any pressure differential between 5 and 90 psi. lf the oil level in the crankcase is too high or too low, the level can be adjusted by turning the adjustment screw on top of the regulator. This can be done while the system is in oper-ation.TElDAR exclusive design eliminates the need of shut-ting down the system and disconnecting the oil feed lines in order to adjust the regulator.

These requlators feature a 3/8" SAE equalization connection on the side of the adiustable oil level regulator that allows the crankcases to be interconnected. This maintains the same pressure in all of the crankcases including any com-pressor that is running. This prevents running compressor(s) from siphoning the oil out of the idle compressor(s).

In order for 2 or more adiustable oil level regulators to be equalized, the compressors must have a common suction line (same suction pressure) and be adjusted to the same oil level.

The 3/8" SAE equalization connection is at the half sight glass level. lt helps prevent over filing of the regulators caused by oil returning down the suction line to an idle compressor.lf a requlator fils up to a half siaht alass, the oilwi be picked up by the eaualization connection and sent to the runnina compressor crankcase, The equalization con-nection may be sealed off, if eaualization is not desired, lt will not affect the function of the reaulator.
