Thermostatic expansion valve regulate the flow rate of refrigerant liquid Into the evaporator. The flow rate is controlled by the thermal bulb of the valve which is atached to the suction line at the outlet of the evaporator. The thermal bulb senses the evaporator heat and adiusts the valve to admit refrigerant liguid in accordance with the refrigerating load The overheat is proportional to the load of refrigerant in the outlet of dry evaporator,so this valve is especially suitable for the supply of refregerant liquid in the dry evaporator.
